Liberty vs. Security?How has the war on terrorism affected our civil liberties?Thursday, March 21 at 7:00 P.M.
This event is free and open to the public and Spanish translation will be available. A public forum on the state of individual civil liberties in the wake of the recently-passed USA Patriot Act and the current War on Terrorism. Speakers will address these issues as they relate to the rights guaranteed in the Constitution, and specifically to Latino immigrants, Arab Americans and social justice activists. A question and answer period will be included.
