Burton Announces Goat Caravan to Make Stops Across the State to Demand the Shutdown of Millstone and Indian Point
The Green Party campaign of Nancy Burton for Attorney General will take a "Goat Caravan" to stops across the state during the week of October 30-November 3.
Accompanying Burton will be Katie the Goat and her twin kids, Cindy-Lu and Joe-Joe. Katie's milk is used to monitor strontium-90 releases from the Millstone Nuclear Power Station. The message: strontium-90 in milk is not good for baby goats or human babies either.
The "Goat Caravan" will commence with a stop at the Attorney General's Office, 55 Elm Street, Hartford, on Monday, October 30, at 11 A.M. The complete itinerary for Monday, October 29, is attached. The tentative itinerary for the remainder of the week follows. Go to www.VoteBurton.org for updates.
