Penny Teal to Appear at Senior Centers

Dr. Penny Teal, Green Party candidate for State Senate, 18th District, will be speaking at two area senior centers. She will be available for an interview after each event.
Dr. Teal will be at Sterling Senior Center on October 9 at 11:00 a.m.
She will be at North Stonington Senior Center on October 16 at 11:30 a.m.
Dr. Teal will discuss issues that are important not only to seniors but to the community as a whole. Among her
topics will be:
- Affordable healthcare for all Connecticut residents.
- An end to corporate welfare.
- Real protection of the environment.
- Meaningful campaign reform.
- Improvements in education, services for seniors, help for the hungry
and the homeless.
Dr. Teal has been receiving a groundswell of popular support for her innovative, pro-people positions. She has been endorsed by the the Connecticut Chapter of the National Organization for Women and the Connecticut Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
