In attendance: Fairfield County: David Bedell, Richard Duffee, Rolf Maurer; Hartford County: Barbara Barry, Mike DeRosa (GPCT Co-Chair), Paul Gobell, Martha Kelly, Tom McCormick, Chris Reilly (GPCT Treasurer); New London: absent; Shoreline: absent; Waterford: absent; Windham: Amy Vas Nunes. Quorum not met.

Start time 7:04pm. No business was conducted; however there was discussion on a number of items.

1. Concerns were expressed that Executive Committee minutes lack adequate detail.

2. Chris Reilly provided an update on the State and Federal checking account activity and balance.

3. Chapters with representatives present reported on their recent activities, which included a film screening and candidate recruitment for municipal offices. Others in attendance reported on legislative advocacy related to demilitarization, renewable energy, universal healthcare, and ranked choice voting.

4. GPCT members were encouraged to volunteer to serve on GPUS standing committees.

5. Results of the February 26 special election – in which Mirna Martínez received 28% of the vote in a 4-way race – were shared; Mirna was also the first Green to qualify for CEP funding under minor party rules, which required her to submit over 660 valid signatures and raise $3,800 for a 2/3 grant.

6. With the Annual Meeting and Internal Elections scheduled for May 18, there was discussion about the cost of the mailing (typically around $1300), workshop and speaker ideas, the risks of online voting, and how to increase participation.
